Lights - Flux And Flow
Crazy beat on this track. If you don't have speakers hooked up, don't listen to this one until you do. I heard this song at an Owl City concert while the band equipment was being set up. It really stood out to me; the intense electronic pop sound suited the atmosphere so well. Kind of dreamy (which is the word I use to describe Owl City's music) with an awesome edge to it. Her voice blends so well with the music in this song, almost as if it's another instrument. I hadn't been exposed to much of her music, but I never pegged her music as multidimensional. Now I do.

Some nights I stay up cashing in my bad luck, some nights I call it a draw.
Fun! - Some Nights
Okay, for the longest time I could not stand this song. I wrote Fun! off as a one-hit wonder. I'd just change the station whenever it came on. But just yesterday, I found myself humming it out of the blue and it was like my subconscious was telling me to give it a chance. So on the way home today, of course it came on the radio, and instead of changing the station, I turned it up. And now, I just think it is awesome. SO good. The choir style singing, the beat...they just nailed it. It's funny how my feelings towards a song can change so fast. I truly appreciate it now. Imagine hearing it live. What a great atmosphere it would create. Damn. Woooah-O, woah-oh Ooooh oh! That's me typing out part of te chorus. If you've already heard it, and don't think much of it, just try it once more and really take it in. If you don't like it after that, then....well, that's fine.
