And I don't want the world to see me, 'cause I don't think that they'd understand. When everything's made to be broken, I just want you to know who I am.

Goo Goo Dolls - Iris

I help out with Student Council at our school, and one of my jobs is to help organize the school dances and be in touch with the DJ. Since I have to be at the dances, I obviously want good music playing, so I send request lists to the DJ. It may just be me that thinks this way, but slow dance songs have to be good, because some kids may remember these slow dances for a long time. Last week I had my iTunes 90's playlist going in the car, (if you ever need help recalling great childhood memories, check out this playlist on your iTunes) and this song came on. I can't really describe the feeling I had, but I was pretty happy. Turned it up loud, sang along to it, and enjoyed every second of it. I definitely put it on the request list. The only 90's track on there. It didn't get played because I don't think a lot of pre-teens know it, but I hope it carries on through the generations somehow. I know it'll always be special to those that grew up in the 90's. Pure classic.
